The firm's own Blake Trueblood was quoted in an August 3rd, 2016 Associated Press article concerning the State of South Dakota's recent indictments of consultants working with the Flandreau Santee Sioux Tribe's marijuana resort project in 2015. 

The indictments include serious state-based criminal drug felonies against non-Tribal members assisting Tribal officials on the project. 

"This adds additional weight to the notion that tribes that are within states who are still not warmed up to the idea of medical marijuana or recreational marijuana are going to have a very difficult time moving those projects ahead," said Blake Trueblood, an attorney at a Florida-based economic development and Indian law firm.
